Even people who never get around to reading his works in class are instantly familiar with titles like King Lear, Othello, Hamlet, Macbeth, and Romeo & Shakespeare. A Midsummer Night's Dream is a classic play about Ancient Greece, featuring the legendary Theseus, who marries the Queen of the Amazons. The play is about love, but it also has a fantastical quality with a historical setting that leads to the famous conclusion and works into the name of the play.
