1904 Formal portrait of Mr. and Mrs. Julius P. Oleson. Julius Peter Oleson was born Feb. 16, 1876, Schleswig-Holstein, Denmakr, and came to the United States in 1889. In 1902, he entered the mercantile business in Gypsum, Colorado, until the time of his death in 1958. Dacia Belisle Woodworth portraying Iva Oleson during the Gypsum Cemetery Tour July 16, 2011. The tour was sponsored by the Town of Gypsum in celebration of Gypsum's Centennial, held July 9-17, 2011. The Porchlight Players, a local drama group, portrayed interesting citizens of the town buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Bob Mayne is standing in the center of the photo.
