The description on the back says the photo was taken prior to 1917. However, Catherine Gale Borah was born in 1921. LeRoy was the nephew of Alfred and Mary Borah.

The Borah family sits for a photograph in 1897. From left to right: Mary (Grant) Borah, Mittie Alda Borah (in butter churn), and Alfred Borah. This photograph was taken by Gene Borah, a relative of Alfred's, on June 6, 1897. Alfred writes in his journal, "Gene Packed his trunk took 2 Photos 1 of Baby in Churn." Alda was six months old.
